Classic (Beta) Signup
Please use the following form to answer some of the questions needed to sign up for BlueMon Classic. In order to use alerting, you will need to provide us with a so-called SMS gateway to your cell phone provider's text messaging service.
Usually, this number is in the form of an email address, but with your phone number in front of the @-sign, such as: 3051234567@mmode.com (for certain AT&T providers). If you don't know the messaging gateway for your wireless provider, you can either contact them directly or use this list as a reference.
The connection that needs to be monitorred can be filled out as a domain name (e.g. myoffice.mycompany.com) or as an IP address. Please make sure that you have either a static (not changing) IP address or a properly set up Dynamic DNS entry (you can get one for free at DynDNS).
Please note that BlueMon Classic is currently in Beta. Eventhough we do not expect the service to change very much, we may decide to change the pricing from one standardized price to a more service level oriented approach, with different check intervals for different plans. Obviously, we will let you know the options before we go into a fully live stage and there will be an identically priced service in the final version.
We use PayPal to set up recurring payments when signing up for BlueMon Classic. You will be billed $60 for the first half year and after this period a $10 monthly fee is automatically charged to your PayPal account.
