Our product offering for monitorring consists of two basic products: Classic and Advanced.
BlueMon Classic (Beta)
The BlueMon Classic product offers great peace of mind for those companies that rely on their internet connection and/or website. With BlueMon Classic, we will monitor the status of all the services you rely on from the outside, such as Website, e-mail, SSH, FTP and more. Since the focus of BlueMon Classic is set to service availability, this service is ideal for companies that use remote access to connect to resources inside the office network.
As soon as our servers notice that the connection into your office experiences high latency - often described by users as 'the internet being slow' - or our servers notice that we can no longer see your gateway, we will immediately notify you by email, pager or text message. Messages will keep coming your way every 5 minutes until the problem is solved.
For less then 35 cents per day, you will be sure that the services you need to run your business are available from the outside world at any given time.
BlueMon Advanced
Our BlueMon Advanced offers the full functionality of the BlueMon Classic service and adds monitorring of devices inside your network by using our BlueMon Appliance.
BlueMon Advanced performs automatic monitorring of critical services and devices from within your network. As often as once per minute, our monitorring appliance checks things like hard disk space, memory usage, number of users, age of virus definitions, running services such as databases or email servers and much more.
Since every company is different and is running different infrastructures, we can set up custom checks for any purpose. Anything you can think of can be monitorred: Computers, if there is paper in the printers, the room temperature... With a little bit of effort we can even tell you how often your doorbell was pressed and how often your toilet was flushed!
As soon as something out of the ordinary is detected on any of the monitorred services, we will automatically send out a message per email or to a text-enabled phone, so you will have the peace of mind that your uptime is as high as it can be.
Meanwhile, we will monitor the BlueMon appliance from our network so you can be assured that you are alerted when your internet connection fails or when you loose power.
Total Control
In many cases, a good monitorring solution can also help prevent problems before they occur. A simple example is disk space: You will receive messages as soon as your disk space goes above a certain threshold. This way, you will know immediately when that new user decides to copy their latest MP3 collection onto your server. You can then take preventive action by either removing the MP3's or adding more storage before the machine crashes!
No matter what, next time users call you that there is a problem with the system, you will have the peace of mind to say 'We are aware of it!'.
